3 dipping sauce recipes for movie nights

Of course we can't get tired of snacking on Panissimi but sometimes we need a little change. Here are three simple dipping sauce recipes for movie nights which are so easy to make!

Tomato dipping sauce with basil

Ingredients: 2 tomatoes (large), 70 g tomato paste, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon dried basil (but fresh is always better), 2 green onions, salt to taste, 1 tablespoon olive oil

Chop the tomatoes finely then heat olive oil in a saucepan. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook them over low heat until they soften (5-7 minutes), while stirring regularly. Add the tomato paste, the finely chopped onions, the basil and the salt. Cook it for another 5 minutes, then add the pepper. Leave the mixture to cool, and then transfer it into a serving bowl. Put it into the refrigerator for 2 hours before serving - the cooler the better! We recommend this italian styled dipping sauce for our Panissimi Premium Fit Snack with prosciutto taste!

Yogurt-herb dip

Ingredients: one cup of yogurt, half cup of sour cream, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic paste, 1 green onion, some fresh parsley and dill.

Clean and chop the onion finely. Wash the fresh parsley and dill then chop them finely too. Mix the yogurt, the sour cream and the mayonnaise in a serving bowl, then add the garlic paste, the onion and the herbs and mix until it is combined. Put the sauce into the refrigerator for about 1 hour before serving. We recommend this dip with our Panissimi Premium Fit Snack with pizza taste!

Guacamole

Ingredients: 2 ripe avocados, 1 onion, 1 small tomato, 1 teaspoon of ground chili pepper, 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, salt and pepper to taste.

Put the pitted and smashed avocados into a mixing bowl. Clean and finely chop the tomato and the onion and add them to the smashed avocado. Add the lemon juice, the cilantro and the chili (be careful with it if you don't like spicy food). Finally add salt and pepper to taste to the mixture and combine it. If you decide to make guacamole prepare it right before serving because the guacamole can easily turn brown on fresh air and lose its nice green color. We recommend this dip with the Panissimi Premium Fit Snack with paprika taste - especially if you like spicy flavours!
